Founded by Benson Cleverdon: "Kick Some Brass" is a small brass band, featuring students from Glenthorne High School, Sutton.
KSB enjoys playing traditional and modern pieces, from: David Sousa, "Liberty Bell," to Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, "War."
In 2010, KSB won a competition to compose a fanfare to be played nightly at the Royal Opera House, to signal the audience to take to their seats, this would not have been possible have it not been for our conductor/teacher Mr Cleverdon.
The long-time conductor and Euphonion player, Mr Benson Cleverdon has left Glenthorne High School and Kick Some Brass to live with his family in Seattle, USA. We miss him greatly, and KSB still lives on in his name!
