About Me:
For a run to be considered "Perfect", it must abide by these simple rules:
Rule 1: No damage.
Rule 2: No save states.
Rule 3: No charge shots.
Rule 4: Defeat all 8 bosses.
Rule 5: Never use an acquired item.
These are subject to exceptions if a challenge becomes "impossible", but if anyone (including myself) proves it to be possible, I will do my best to recreate it.

I am currently a college junior studying Psychology. Ignore my Youtube age, if that ever happens to show up by mistake. It's off by a few years :P
Interests:
I've always been a huge fan of video games, generally in the broad "Action" genre such as platforming, side scrolling, and the like. I also very much enjoy metroidvania style gameplay, and I'm a sucker for games that are innovative so long as they aren't gimmicky, especially if they're puzzles. I am not a huge fan of RPG's, although there are exceptions, I almost never keep interest long enough to actually finish them. I'm also not a big fan of First Person Shooters, although again there are exceptions. Other genres I absolutely don't enjoy are Sports and Rhythm, the former I dislike entirely and the latter I'm utterly terrible at. I've got plenty of other interests, but since this is a channel dedicated to video games, you probably won't hear too much about that.
Movies:
My favourite movie of all time is without a doubt Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It is the pinnacle of comedy, the greatest documentary ever made. Of shows, my favourite shows of all time are Firefly and Invader Zim (the former being a show I found long after it cancelled, the later being a childhood favourite), but lately I've been watching reruns of Mystery Science Theater 3000 - and loving every minute.
Music:
My tastes in music are EXTREMELY varied, I've got pretty much every genre I've heard of in my library (which spans over 4,200 songs). My favourite genres however are Irish Folk music, Third Wave Ska, and Classic Rock, with an emphasis on Metal. Generally any music that can be described as upbeat has potential to be a song I enjoy.
Books:
My all time favourite book is A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, although I'm also a big fan of his other works. I haven't read them all, but I do enjoy them/. Next comes the Eragon series, the Enchanted Forest Chronicles, and then a meddley of other fantasy books. Mists of Avalon, Deltora Quest, Animorphs, Remnants, that sort. If you can't tell, I like old fashioned fantasy as well as science fiction.
