Most of the music showcased here is from local Chicagoland area bands. I just figured I would share it with you guys. Also, most of these bands I've seen live myself, and they all put on one hell of a show!

I cannot stress the above statement enough. For a few bands, the number of people that show up at their shows is what keeps them going.
Besides, local shows are a great way to see new bands and have a good time with your friends. And who knows, maybe you might just find your new favorite band that you hadn't heard of before they did they're sound check.
But then you ask...
"Kevin! How do I know what local bands are playing where?"
Check Myspace or Facebook for bands, and promoters. You'll pretty quickly find a band near you playing a venue... near you.
