I never really had the gift for singing. It wasn't until I hit grade 11 when I had a free slot in my class schedule and a Vocal class was available in that period. I felt warmly welcomed to just sit in the class during my spare. I liked it, it was full of nice people--seemed like a great class to try out. I filled my spare with the vocal class that day.
I started to love singing when I was 15. I was inspired by a good friend, Michael (Tickeeymickeey). He is the one who made me believe that singing isn't a gift born to people--It's earned through practice. My vocal teacher acknowledged my passion for singing and with practice she guided me down the right path. Without her I would not be where I am now, loving music!
Till this day fourth, I wish I started singing in grade 9...
