About Kevin Garrett's Channel

Welcome to my YouTube video channel. I'm Kevin Garrett from the Smogon staff. Some of you may recognize me from PokeCommunity and PokeBeach. I managed their battle forums prior to getting involved on Smogon. I will be uploading my competitive battling videos here for everyone's enjoyment.

I began playing Pokemon with Red and Blue. When Diamond and Pearl was announced to have Wi-Fi, I decided to start learning competitive battling. After a rough beginning, I picked up on the game and have gotten pretty good.

Please do not ask me to battle because I generally busy and do this for fun on the side. If I want to battle, I will seek out my opponent. If I don't know someone, then you can understand why I would just ignore their battle request.

I'm uploading these videos to show everyone some good competitive battles. Furthermore, it would be nice if some new players can pick up on some competitive battling strategies. The quality of the older videos is less than the newer ones because I was still learning the game. I hope you enjoy viewing my videos.
