@jm357m Very effective. Yes the demonstration is choreographed to a certain extent. That does not take away from the skill level of the participants. Sensei Segal is a well qualified instructor and practitioner.

It's a good demonstration. The techniques are clean and show a solid knowledge of the skills. The falls are done that way to show how the techniques could be more powerful than they are. Obviously the falls are rehearsed and over emphasized. This does not detract from the legitimacy of the skills...

@MrShadesky I could not agree more. I continually tell my students that earning a black belt is simply a signal that you intend to become a serious student. Even though I am a Jujitsu practitioner and instructor I have a tremendous respect for O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba. He understood.
