Musical Theatre with a dash of Classical and a sprinkle of Pop
About Me:
My passion for singing started when I went to see the Phantom Of the Opera at age 7. I fell in LOVE with it and when I wouldn't stop singing songs from it (using my bed as a stage lol), my parents decided it might be a good idea to get me performing, so when I was 10 I joined a community choir. By the time I was 14, I had began taking private lessons and performing solo in classical, folk, and operatic competitions and small church and school musicals.
I focused on a career in opera and joined Calgary Opera in 2008 and was part of the Canadian premier of "The Ballad Of Baby Doe". It was an absolutely fantastic experience which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I realized Opera wasn't quite the career I wanted to pursue anymore and decided to go back to what sparked my love of singing in the first place. Musical Theatre.
I've only just started seriously working on musical theatre for the last 2 years, meaning LOTS of practice on my chest voice (which as a strict classical performer, I had seriously neglected). I've just moved to London UK to pursue my career in Musical Theatre and my goal is to find a place in the West End. With enough hard work and a little luck, I'm hoping my path will lead me there.
For those who have asked and want to know, I record with an Audio-Technica AT3035 microphone and at the moment I edit with Protools 6.4 with a digi 001 interface but I am going to be upgrading soon.

I've recently found out that someone has been posing as me on Yahoo Answers and I've received some hurtful comments and messages because of this individual. This person is NOT me and I'm going to clarify right now that I don't have anything against other artists and musicians or the people who choose to like them. People can like who they want and I respect that, to each their own. I do not claim to be the best at what I do nor do I claim to be better than anyone else.
