About this user

Proud of my German heritage. Germans were among the first groups that settled in Ontario, but German culture has been almost completely lost in this province. For this reason I advocate the renewal of German culture in Ontario, and among other things would like to see mandatory German-language education at all levels in the school system, and the establishment of a German Heritage Region along with the recognition of German-Ontarians as constituting a "nation" with distinct land- and language-rights.
