The group "Keksi" was founded on 1997 by Aleksandrs Sircovs. Already after a month the group started concert activities with participating at International Rock Festival in Tartu, Estonia. Then followed performances at several festivals in Latvia and Estonia, as well as in music clubs.
On 1999 two members of the group went to Singapore with Rhythm'n'blues group "Rebel", where performed in clubs for six months. After their return the group resumed concert activities. Gradually offers to perform increased and on 2002 the group started to perform in today's composition - with 4 winders. In the end of 2002, it is clear, that idea of the group's composition of 8 musicians was really great and effective. The group was much sough for at private parties, as well as in clubs.
On summer 2003 the group went on two weeks' tour to Sweden. Year 2004 was a great success for the group - at least one concert per week and 22 performances on December!
In the beginning of 2005 the group recorded its concert in audio and video format. The group's CD is on the way.
At year-end 2004 the group started to cooperate with famous Latvian impresario Rafail Balkin, who is also a manager of Marie N - the winner of Eurovision Contest 2002.
