Your hard work and support helped our 2008 campaign play a big role in delivering the Fifth District for Al Franken and President Obama.
But our work is NOT done. In 2010, we have to build on that momentum and elect a Democratic Governor!
President Obama and I need a partner in the Governor's office; someone who'll help get the most out of the stimulus money Minnesota has coming.
For us to win the Governors race, we have to turn out more voters in our District, just like we did in 2008.
In 2008, traditionally under-represented communities like African-Americans, Latinos, Somalis, and young people were the keys to President Obama's victory. If we maintain and grow that turnout in 2010, we will win the Minnesota Governors race. By winning that race, we'll build a political base that can demand the services and initiatives our families and neighborhoods need to share in the American Dream. Let's organize to bring the change we can believe in home!
