What's the Keep It Weird! Project?
The Keep It Weird! Project is an idea I came up with in April of 2011. The idea is to have a programming block for YTV on Fridays from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM (cancelling out Big Fun Weeknights for one day), Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This block would be filled with old YTV bumpers and station IDs that will be EXCLUSIVE to the block, along with retro YTV shows. The late night/early morning hours could be filled with shows from YTV's former block, Bionix, such as DragonBall Z and InuYasha, along with some other mature audience shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
Are you interested in the project? Sign the petition at and make this too-good-to-be-true dream become a reality!
Private message me here or email me at keepitweird@live.com if you have any questions or concerns.
Videos involving the project will be uploaded soon but for now, enjoy the gateway to the past!
Do you have anything from YTV's past that could help us out? Email me or Private Message me! Thanks.
