what cap and trade does is puts a cap on the amount of greenhouse gasses that businesses can produce, and taxes those businesses for doing so. so anything that requires the release of greenhouse gasses to be produced will be taxed. anything that requires fire to to be made, will be taxed. but its not the people who will get taxed, its the companies, so in turn the companies will pass the raised manufacturing prices down to the consumer, making everything more expensive. and that means EVERYTHING. if a company has to use a car to transport a product, it will be taxed. but what this does to our economy is DESTROY IT. since the prices of everything will go up in the us only, since we are the only country participating, the prices of buying things from overseas and manufacturing things overseas, will be cheaper, not only to us, but to the rest of the world as well, making it unprofitable to manufacture and buy things from here, and make our products and businesses look unattractive to other countries, leaving the us as an IMPORT ONLY CONSUMER ONLY country, until our money runs out. this combined with the current rate of inflation due to the constant spending and creation of money by our government, is ABSOLUTELY DISASTROUS FOR OUR ECONOMY.

Our cry's to the Senate won't be heard, they will only be disregarded and laughed upon. The majority needed to pass the Senate version have already been paid off, don't you get it my friend. The system has been hijacked a long time ago. We need to take it back before it's too late. If this sad fact weren't true, and I wish it wasn't, Congress would have acted in our favor. We need to take it back before it's too late.
