I used to have this problem, still get it sometimes >.<
But all I do is I go into Sony Vegas 8, put the sound file in there, edit the volume or even just render it so it becomes a .wav file and throw it into the SFM directory....tf, sound, vo I think. And it seems vegas 8 only works for me since if I try with 11 all i get is silence in SFM...Very strange
