ごめ~~ん! late reply on my part here. yeah I know about. I actually just got the last for the second season but I dont see any third season volumes yet.the third is the last is all i know. dont spoil it for me yet lololol. at least your background is not much of a spoiler since i expect these characters to show up anyways. this manga can be brutal to its characters since its not a shonen manga so im wondering how these characters, the Team J would die in the manga.. Yeah I guess its harder to lip sync a real mouth instead of an animated one. The onion alien kinda reminded me of Freddy Krueger. There was only one Tanaka alien but he was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing during his whole fight. There were only three Buddha aliens and only two of them died the same way they did in the manga. I'm not really 100% sure if that was Sakurai at the end. Maybe they will make a third movie one day for the invasion after that ark in the manga is complete. Also SPOILER WARNING Nishi and Katou did die.

Yeah I got to see Gantz last night. I thought it was a pretty good movie. The dubs weren't really that good and I probably would have enjoyed it more if I had seen it with its original audio instead. The suits, weapons, fight scenes, and the aliens were also very well done. It wasn't completely accurate to the manga but I guess that was kind of expected when you have to censor out certain things and a two hour time limit. Overall, it was a Thursday night well spent.
