BIOGRAPHY
Kaz was born in the very center of London on April 10, 1985. It wasn't long before her mother Penny, a book designer, and her father Tony, a teacher, realized she needed to spread her wings and relocate to the countryside where Kaz grew up. She spent her childhood and early teenage years in a quiet seaside town in East England. She still says this is her favorite place to be in the world and loves visiting friends and family there.

At 18, Kaz moved to London to study at a university, King's College. Since her father was a techer, she always agreed education was important and valued it. She was determined to gain a degree before pursuing a career in entertainment.

She was 20 when she put up her first singing video on youtube, Justin Timberlake's 'Never Again'. When asked why she chose youtube to expose her singing talent she replied with....
"Youtube is such a wonderful website to access people. By starting out on youtube you feel and are 'real'. People can see you're an ordinary person sitting in an ordinary room singing about something that really matters to you."
What Kaz didn't expect was the most amazing and kind replies she got back from her singing. Her startingly sincere rendition of the Justin Timberlake song she sung touched the hearts of all who saw it. When asked, why she chose this slightly obscure song, she replied with the most inspiring reply I've heard all day....
"It matters to me. Why sing a song if you can't mean every single word you say? Every lyric of 'Never Again' summarised my feelings at the time and it's beautifully written"

So is now seems the sky is the limit for Kaz....but she may go much farther ;). Talking about her possibly upcoming album she said....
"It's only in it's early stages. I've composed a few songs myself and am hoping to get some experienced songwriters on board to help....
"The main thing is for me to make it accessible and sincere. I'm so inspired by the singers of the past, for instance Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, and Bob Dylan. To me, you can hear them put all of their soul into their songs. I need to make sure my heart is in all of the music and lyrics in the album. Hopefully, that way it can't really go wrong."

Just to clear something up she does NOT lip sync. She has an iMac computer with a built in web cam and she sings LIVE for all youtube appearances. It may appear she is lip-syncing because of a slow camera and the reverb effect that is on all videos but she is not lip-syncing.
