The Grand Kingdom of Kavala and Compania, also known as the most serene Kingdom of Kavala, is a micronation state based of the internet. It is led by King Daniel Edward IV, as a Constitutional Monarchy, where a Parliament is open to help the King and his government function. The Kingdom has its own amatuer, but real military forces. It contains a Navy, and an Army, based in Venezuela. The military usually trains in high mountain combat. The only current formation of the Army of Kavala, is the 1st Cavalry Squadron. The Navy is currently under construction. The Grand Kingdom of Kavala and Compania was founded on Saturday, August 29th, 2009. The Kingdom currently holds numerous amounts of departments and sections to help the nations ability to function. The structure of the nation is loosely based in a Senate within Parliament, which decides on many things, but however must have the Kings Authority in certain things. A short History on Why this was Created...
This micronation was created for the purpose of protesting the Greek occupation of Naxos, and the Aegean Archipelago. This is because in the late 16th century, a wealthy Jewish Merchant, who helped the Ottoman Sultan obtain power, was given this Area by the Sultan, but after his death, his family couldn´t continue their reign because the Ottomans confiscated most of their wealth and the islands. This site was made because that man was King Daniel´s anscestor. He does not which to protest that, that area is not Greek, because it is, but wishes to protest the fact that, that area was his families, and should thus serve as a duchy or Principality to Greece, but its own State...
