Think about this 4 about a few minutes. Yeah there are going to be days where your throat is going to hurt & there are going to be days where your going to eat very little because it's going to hurt swallowing food & yes it's going to be irrating. I had my tonsils taken out. The one great thing about having your tonsils taken out is the ice cream, the popcicles (I think that's how you spell popcicles) & the ice cold water. That's when you have your parents buy a couple of ice trays. It's only a one day surgery. You don't stay over night. I have a question. How old are you?? Reason I ask is because when you have your tonsils taken out when your younger, you'll get over it faster but if you wait until your 18 or older, it's a lot harder on you. I'm 18 & it took a week and 2 or 3 days for mine to heal. There's nothing to be scared of

I'm doing good. I had nasal surgery and my tonsils taken out last Friday. Well my throat is killing me right now unless I take a pain killer
