I have a NEW WEBSITE!!!

http://www.keepmecurly.com

For more hair tips and inspiration plus product reviews and giveaways, please visit my exciting new webstie!

I originally made this channel to help other adoptive mothers who were trying to navigate the waters of styling and caring for hair that was different from their own. I am so happy that so far, many people, not just adoptive parents, have found my videos to be helpful. I do not claim to have any expertise, just a few years of trial and error. I love doing my girls hair and I hope to help others enjoy it too!
About Me:

I am always changing the products I use as I learn new things. I try to be as natural as possible with out spending an outrageous amount of money. We are keeping it pretty simple right now using only TW products and straight coconut oil.

Current hair routine for V:
Wash and condition with Taliah Waaijid products in between styles. (usually every 3 to 4 weeks) Then rub in coconut oil while still damp. I don't use gel anymore when I style and the style stays looking nice just as long. Sometimes I use a little coconut oil on my hands while I am braiding. Spray style daily with Taliah Waajid protective mist bodifier.

Current hair routine for B:
Spray locs every morning with Taliah Waajid protective mist bodifier (this helps them to lay nicely after being slept on and keeps her hair moisturized) Wash hair once a week with Taliah Waajid shampoo and conditioner. Run coconut oil through locs after washing. When she showers in between washing she gets her hair wet, but we don't wash it, she just rinses it well and then we put in the coconut oil after.

Wow, I think all the previous comments pretty much summed up what I was going to say. I am teaching myself to braid now and I also subscribed after watching just one video. You are so great at what you do and I can't wait to be that good. I am going to watch and practice all of these, I can't wait to see them all and I hope you keep coming with more!!
