I am a very shy and bumbling singer and player of the guitar, ukulele and piano who will most likely always play cover songs and never original work. I recently used my voice for a bit of activism and it felt wonderful. It makes me sick that anyone who feels they have the sole moral authority on, well, everything, outright lies and slanders in order to push an agenda (in this case that agenda is creationism - don't call it Intelligent Design re: Dover). As an atheist, I see the world as a place full of natural beauty and do not feel the need to attach anything supernormal to it. If you do, fine, but be honest about it and let me live in peace.
