A great scene - after so much of the film being based around flashbacks, it was all the more powerful to simply focus of Smiley as he tells the story.

@KataAnimata Just had to add - I don't disagree with you btw! This trailer does make it look rather like 'heartwarming', sentimental typical Hollywood childrens' fare, which the book is not. So I'm with you in hoping the punch and honesty of the book is maintained by the film.

Nothing wrong with a bit of nostalgia and seeing the good things about bygone eras. I personally wished we still lived in a time where hat-wearing was practically compulsory :)

I agree with Psychoforever: I love how raw this is, and it makes it clear how strongly they feel, but the original ending is great for the film. Maybe if this version had Extreme Ways playing instead of this song...?

Pretty cool, you've got the Firefly feel right. Very convincing as an intro.
