@TheDobbsart You can't be anorexic and have that much strength to dance. Ballet is tough work, and if you're anorexic you will not have enough muscle support and energy to dance that well.

@Kata397533 Looking back, I think it was Hannah's contemporary performance that got her the win. She presented her contemporary variation in a very mature and stylish way, whereas Zhaoqian--well, not saying it was bad--but I felt her style was kinda generic.

This why I prefer the French system over the Russian. The Paris Opera are able to produce great dancers without yelling insults at them--they focus on theory, physiology and pedagogy as well.
