You probably know but you dont have to always turn the power on and off with the power pack on an amiga, it has a key combo reset.

Hold down CTRL and the two A amiga keys on the bottom row of the keyboard at the same time, this will reset the machine.

@dave4shmups Yes the kickstart Roms are copyrighted, but you are ok if you own a real Amiga with the same kickstart chip in it, or you can buy Amiga Forever Emulator for PC that comes with a fully licenced set of kickstart roms.

Amiga was a great machine, shame commodore lost the plot. What about Ruff N Tumble, ZeeWulf, Lemmings, Gods, Jim Power and a little known platform game called Kwik and Silver they are must have amiga games :)

@xelahot200 This is not fake, it is an NAND flasher box that reprograms the flash chip with new firmware, the box attached directly to the NAND flash chip by using a clip, a progskeet can also do the same thing also.

@TheA1l2e34x Yes, but the shadow was too large to be that of the Phobos 2 probe and also totally the wrong shape!

Also this can happen if the motors have failed. One motor drives the top rotor and one motor drives the lower.

So if either rotor is not turning, check the gears, motors and wiring.

I had to replace the motor for the top rotor on my Syma and its flying again :)

Has anyone tried adding a drop of ZX1 oil to the inside of the bearings.

It goes into the metal and reduces friction, it worked well on my cycle bearings.

Please remember though you are not seeing the real shape of the light in many ufo videos of bright lights.

Camcorders have a diamond shaped iris that opens and closes and if you zoom in on bright lights you will get a diamond shape no matter what shape the light is.
