Kareem Grant is a very talented player. He is long and athletic swingman and is a great shooter and scorer. He has the ability to slash to the basket, pull up from the mid-range jump shot, or shoot the three-point jump shot with consistency. Kareem is multi-talented in the 1-2- or 3 position, and is a team player, providing outstanding skills on the defensive end as well. As a senior at Tennessee State University, he averaged 16ppg, 4.1rpg, and 1.3apg in 33.8 minutes per game, while shooting 51% from the field, 38.8% from the three point range, and 84.2% from the free throw line. In 20 Ohio Valley Conference games during the 2005-2006 season he averaged 18.2ppg (5th in the OVC) and 4.1rpg in 34.2 minutes per game while shooting 54.5% from the field (2nd in the OVC), 41.6% from the three point range (5th in the OVC), and the 84.4% from the free throw line (4th in the OVC). Kareem scored a game high of 31 points in back to back games on January 26, 2006 and January 28, 2006 against Tennessee Tech and Eastern Kentucky in the OVC while making 7 three point field goals and 8 three point field goals in both games. In his professional debut he averaged 24 ppg, 6 rpg. In 2007, he was a WBA Champion and received honorable mention selection.
