Kaouther Professionnal Belly Dancer in Paris
About Me:
She started her career with Mayodi's Ballet el Noujoum with whom she worked for many years before deciding to become a solo artist.
After various shows in France she naturally moved on to performing abroad: New York, Dallas, Geneva, Brussels, Cairo...
The love for her Art is Kaouther's drive! Besides teaching in Paris she continues to improve her technique and knowledge of traditional oriental music by working with some of the finest dance masters and choreographers in the world: Yousry Charif, Raquia Hassan and many more.
Cinema wants her too! Rachid Bouchareb trusted her to create the choreography of the oriental ballet in his latest film "Out Of Law" starring Djamel Debouzze & Roschdy Zem (Cannes 2010 Official Competition -- French release on September 22nd 2010).
It is upon Raqia Hassan's request who always focused on her evolution, that Kaouther will be joining the 2011 edition of the prestigious International Festival Ahlan Wa Sahlan as Artist Performer and Teacher.
Talent remarqué de la nouvelle génération de Danseuses Orientales, Kaouther se fait connaître par la dimension théâtrale qu'elle donne à son interprétation et ses créations chorégraphiques. Elle débute à Paris au sein du Ballet el Noujoum dirigé par Mayodi,avec qui elle travaillera plusieurs années en France et à l'étranger puis décide de se consolider en tant que soliste. Animée par la passion de son art, Kaouther enseigne à Paris et continue à perfectionner sa technique, à enrichir son répertoire en allant à la rencontre des grands maîtres de danse internationaux tels que Yousry Charif, Raquia Hassan et bien d'autres encore. Elle se produit tout d'abord en France puis très vite à l'étranger, New York, Dallas, Genève, Fes, Marrakech, Bruxelles, Le Caire...
Raqia Hassan, Chorégraphe de renommée internationale et Directrice du prestigieux Festival International Ahlan Wa Sahlan du Caire, qui n'a cessé de suivre son évolution, la sollicite pour rejoindre l'édition 2011 en tant qu'Artiste et Professeur.
