Just for the record- I am not here (or anywhere else) looking for that strike-it-rich rockstar recording contract. I loathe and eschew the corporate money machine with every fiber of my being. Not only do I have no desire to become their scrap-begging slave, I am entirely uninterested in existing in their paradigm, or structuring myself or my art on the model they have provided. I promote a rebirth of the Arts & Crafts Movement. I play music. My objective is to make that music a pleasure, for myself, and for those who choose to follow what I do. My only shameless self-promotion is to the end of sharing what I do with as many as i can, so that others can listen, and choose to enjoy what I do, or choose to turn away if they don't. I need to eat. And strings cost money. And I have faith that those who enjoy what I do will support me. And if they don't, then I will probably be less able to do it. That seems a fair trade to me. Do not expect me to sell you a "package". I don't dance. I'm not pretty. And I'm marginal at best at maintaining personal relationships- but my fans and followers do know they have my love, my appreciation, and my respect. Without them, I could not thrive. So in a sense, perhaps, I AM a musical deity. I cannot survive without your faith.
