@Berzerker204 Yes, but the difference between the definitions of the words you listed is so minimal, that when translating to or from a language that's as unrelated to English as Japanese is, they're practically interchangeable. The difference is made in how they're used colloquially.

Suspense movie soundtrack. I call shenanigans. Also, it sounds like it's some kind of loud-ish noise being heard over a distance, but it cuts right off when the window is closed. If it were really such a powerful noise, you'd still be able to hear it through such a flimsy window.

@MrTonySoriano The "Old guy" is none other than Nobuo Uematsu. The composer for most of the music from the Final Fantasy series. He used to have a band called the Black Mages. But they broke up and he formed the Earthbound Papas with some of the old members of the Mages.
