About this user

My name is Kannan and I am 19. My passion for media started when I took Digital Media studies at Secondary 3. I gradually manifested the basic foundation for film studies and decided to further develop my skills . I joined the course Diploma in Moving Images at Temasek Polytechnic on April 2009. My journey into the design world started from that day onwards. I managed to know more about the industry and decided to explore further by self- directed learning. In this two years, I have managed to gain lots of experiences by directing and writing for some films.

I am a person who believes that good films are films which have strong storylines. Usually movies need not have a complex story to be liked, but a simple engaging story which relates to the audience can win over them easily. Personally, my statement is that, good movies or even dramas must have a good story or screenplay and that is what I usually try to achieve in the scripts I write. I like to experiment different themes and genres which have never been touched or used in minimal. In order to stand out in this creative industry, experimenting different genres and subjects is the best way. More than anything else, team work is very important in this industry. My aim is to give the audiences new experience with my scripts and to create new dimension in this scriptwriting industry, in near future.
