Panpipe, piano & misc music videos.
About Me:
This channel has ALL my videos, including my early ones which were created with my video camera alone and are not terribly good sound quality. Since early 2008 most of my videos have had much better sound.
You can find a number of my classical music tracks available for free download at:
http://www.free-scores.com/...
Along with MP3''s, sheet music and MIDI files for some of my own compositions.
Visit my Facebook page at

To become a fan (though I have so shamefacedly admit I neglect the page terribly).
My panpipe CD "I Got Your Danny Boy Right Here, Buddy" is now available from CDBaby at:

To help out in navigating my somewhat 'prolific' collection of videos, I've created a number of playlists of my videos to help out in trying to find things (i.e., the "Ragtime" playlist contains my Ragtime videos). I try to keep them reasonably up to date, but have been neglectful lately. Terribly neglectful. As in 'not updated them for years' neglectful. Tsk!
In 2007 I took a rare opportunity to purchase a 9 foot 40 year old concert grand in very fine condition (at an amazing price - for a concert grand), since early 2008 I have had access to some better recording equipment, and my videos are much better in sound quality thereafter.
I'm not a musician for a living, oddly enough (I like a stable income, health benefits... that boring sort of stuff ;) ), but as you might guess, I love music. I don't drive, so the panpipes give me something to do while walking from one place to the next & waiting for my bus to work. (Piano's my first instrument, but my arms were getting tired carrying it down the street.) Since getting the concert grand, in fact - and after years of neglecting the piano for the panpipes, I'm now somewhat in danger of neglecting the panpipes for the piano. I need more time!
I've given 'folk' as the style, but I'm actually a hard-core classical pianist in background; the stuff I've posted here so far is folk, ragtime, classical, old pop, new pop & a few misc. things. I may not offer perfection, but I DO offer variety. :)
For anyone interested to hear a better quality recording of me on the panpipes, there are some clips ("With a Hundred Pipers" & "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot") from my CD posted to my "MySpace" page (http://www.myspace.com/glenho
) , as well as now to my YouTube account.
You may also purchase a copy of the CD by sending $15.00 U.S./CDN to my PayPal account. (Overseas add an additional $4.00 for shipping.)
Lastly, for anyone viewing my Ragtime videos.... please don't bother telling me Ragtime should not be swung:I've been told at least a hundred times already (and I started, 25 years years ago, playing it without a swing), and, really..... I prefer my Ragtime with a bit of a swing or other rhythm. If you DON'T, then perhaps you should listen to someone else's Ragtime! If you want to complain anyway, just be warned that I might be a little cranky. ;) I also prefer my Ragtime a little on the slow side. I feel this allows one to get much more out of the music, or at least Scott Joplin's rags!

Kamibambiraptor uploaded a new video
I have a fondness for pre-50's music, especially the 20's & 30's. This collection is mostly Duke Ellington pieces played by myself on the piano...

A very tender composition, it has a lullabye-like quality to it. The middle section is very heavy and langourous, like a still summer night.
