Welcome to CosNewb. This would be the channel where I compile lists/videos that I felt would be useful for cosplay.

Cosplay means "costume-play" and it is a hobby from Japan that has been spreading to many other countries recently. Usually cosplayers choose characters from japanese anime/manga/games/movies to portray, but that doesn't necessarily exclude their western counterparts too.

A dedicated cosplayer may have to sew his own costume or make his own props, and it could be a very interesting learning journey. Cosplayers often have to think out-of-the-box on how to bring a beloved 3D/2D character to life...The emphasis is not on the "costume" only, but also on the word "play" in Cosplay. "Play" as in knowing how to act and pose like your chosen character on photos, performances or at events. It also means enjoying yourself - getting to know like-minded people and having fun together!

So don't be frightened by our striking hairstyles and weird costumes and come join us! 8D
