About Singapore Teachers' Union (STU) - Professional Development
The Singapore Teachers' Union (STU) is committed to contributing to the success of all our teachers through relevant and high quality professional development workshops. Effective career-long professional development is increasingly being seen as vital to our students' and schools' success.
STU must stress the need for teachers to constantly enhance their knowledge and skills. This constant upgrading will collectively help maintain and improve the status of teaching profession in Singapore.
In tandem with this belief, STU has invited Dr. Spencer Kagan, Laurie Kagan, and associates from Kagan Publishing and Professional Development in USA, to conduct workshops for STU members and other local educators annually, since 1997.
