About Me:
Carey watched His Dad sing at church on Sundays & also emulate singers like: "JohnnyCash-I Walk the Line "," Hank Williams-I Saw The Light. In highschool He, started to cover music such as:, Elvis",The Beatles, Classic Rock, Punk & U2. In 1977, He began gigging wk-ends in eclectic bands. After He moved to Toronto, with no substantial leads & minimum wage jobs; He eventually moved back to His hometown, disillusioned. The third time, however, He was able to live in that same Area for about 17 Yrs. Prior to 1989; He found himself drifting away from his roots; wrestling with depression, anxiety & broken relationships& an alcohol addiction. All these things immitated peace; but in the end __ crashed & hit bottom. By The Grace of God, this crossroads, triggered a committment to attend A.A. for 6 yrs.

In May 1990, Carey Successfully, Decided to pray a prayer, Invited "Jesus Christ " to live, inside His Heart." It's sort of like falling in love for the first time, says Carey." In retrospect this whole experienece has birthed: new sence of dignity, self worth, vision, especially the area of writing & performance.
