Hi, I'm Karla Nabil.

I am a folk and abstract artist. Having accumulated my various traits in visual art, multi-cultural crafting, and progressive poetry writing and performance. Everything I create is based off of abstractism. Whether it's painting designs, surreal portraits, applying my influences onto my signature crafts (masks, egg shells, woven accessories)... including writing prose, poetry, and lyrics.

My abstract methodology allows me to stay away from commercialism; thus, continuously reinventing myself. Which helps maintiain originality.

As for poetry, once I started in 2010 to participate in Slams -- I have improved as a writer and performer. The FHS (FreeHoleSlam.com) organization that hosts these and other events, is by far a venue I encourage for people to attend and become familiar with. Why?
