Wow, back in that day Captain Cronin looked really young. I figured he'd have had some gray hair even back then (he did during a documentary made later on, though he was in his late 70's then. He died back in 2010 at the age of 81).

The Harley Davidson Circa 2020 looks awesome and quite similar to the Tron bike. It really only needed a few small-touches but having the whole wheel being a giant bearing is a nice structural concept. I wonder how long this was technologically feasible...

Though the definition interceptor existed already, I don't think it did in the US and effectively it was a manipulative tactic to to defeat USAAC fighter requirements limiting bomb-loads to 500 pounds, and and single engined fighters to one engine.
