I recently obtained my ticket (April 1, 2008). I look forward to leaning all I can about this wonderful "lifestyle". I do not consider it a hobby.

Currently, I am active on several of our local 2m repeaters and will soon have my shack set up. I plan on joining my local amateur club (Talladega Radio Amateur Club)at their next meeting. I also want to get involved with RACES/ARES. I am a certified storm spotter and work full time for our local emergency management agency as a public information officer.

I am very interested in working satellites (thanks to videos from K7AGE). Maybe you will hear me on AO-51 soon. If you hear "KJ4DBD EM73bo" jump in and say hello.

I hope to add some videos soon. Until then, I will enjoy the ones I can find here.
