I play a bit of guitar and fancy myself a singer.
Music is the only productive way I know of dealing with extreme emotions. Its how I feel.
I am also doing my best to inform myself and others to the abuses of our rights and freedoms.
I don't play into the partisan politics that wastes the efforts of so many in this nation.
I consider myself a libertarian if you require a label.
My beliefs are constantly evolving. I disagree with much of the content I posted 3 years ago, two years ago, 6 months ago...yesterday.
I'm very much indebted to Murray N Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises, and Ron Paul. They introduced me to the Austrian school of economics and started my education in libertarian ethics.
"It is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a 'dismal science.' But it is totally irresponsible to have a loud and vociferous opinion on economic subjects while remaining in this state of ignorance."
Rothbard
Presently I'm of the belief that a stateless society in which defense of property rights and courts were provided by the freemarket is much preferable to a state with a monopoly on the legal initiation of the use of force.
When Im not working, playing guitar, or working myself up about the current state of affairs; Im probably drinking an IPA, smoking a bowl, and playing disc golf.
