There is no way cutting the bands without the Roll cutter... did a trial with the ruler and regular cutter, it comes out very bad. Roll cutter is expensive, still need to buy it.

Joerg, apply some graphite from pencil to the hand pump, at the inner channel where it slides on. You can just scribble the portion black with the pencil. Or use talcum powder if you dont want it get black. The pump action will become smooth.
