I have a smaller A-14 that I like. Does what I need it to do with no fuss at all,...simplicity at it's best in a utility-v bottom! There may be other brands of boats out there,but I won't own anything but a Lund!

@mu0chn I'm with you on that one,buddy! I had thought about other classic rigs,but this one has my number! I can see this rig sitting on my operating desk right beside my FT-950,...which has been a VERY good radio for me,and still is.

Why do you have the Mic Gain set so high? You should only have it at 25 to 26,...yours is way up to about 84,so without a doubt,you're way overmodulating and over driving the transmitter as well.How do I know you're way up to 84 on the Mic Gain? Nice rig if you can afford it and REALLY need this much radio,...to me,it would be overkill in my shack when my FT-950 does just as well without all the extra stuff the 9000 has. I'll keep my 950!

The FT-950 is a wonderful rig,...I have one and every contact I have made so far has been very favorable. I get nothing but good reports on how clear and clean my signal is,...even with running it barefoot at 100 watts! How do you like your rig?

After watching your video,I went in and turned my radio on and set the mic gain up the way you described. I found I had mine too high! I cut it back to about 26 and it barely goes past the blue ALC graph as the video shows! Learned something today!

Awesome Galaxie! Would love to have a car like that just to drive around town in or go for a Sunday drive. That is my favorite body style of the old big Fords,...we had a '73 at one time,...wish it had been a '71 or '72 instead!

Nice looking car,...but if i were going to have one of the old big Fords like this,my choice would be a '72 model since I like that body style so much more than the later ones!

I like mine a lot,too,...great radio! i have been getting nothing but good signal reports even running it barefoot into my G5RV antenna at 100 watts! Even worked Germany on 10 meters with it already! I don't own an amp,either!

How does one go about keeping both the pipe and digital voices in tune with each other since differences in room temperature may affect how pipes react to such changes?

Speaking from a technical sense here,...I have but one question. Okay,what is really the purpose of switching the Leslie from fast to slow at certain points in the song? The organist at my church does not do that,...she leaves the Leslie on fast at all times.
