Beck and I have been best friends since we were in sixth grade. We are both single parents who have devoted ourselves to a life long dream of home ownership.... now in our early 30's with children and lives to contend with that dream looks far off in the distance. Since we have decided that becoming raging alcoholics would not be responsible parenting and the cost of rehab would definately put the idea of owning a home too far out of reach, we began the dollhouse project. A simple idea that we would raise up enough money to buy a small doll house, build it and decorate it in a way that we could have something visual to dream about instead of dwell on the idea that we may never become home owners with the jobs we currently have. We started a website to track the progress of our raising money efforts and "How to make do" projects for our houses. Hence the you tube channel. We needed a way to get codes for said projects. Since we've started this little project it's grown a bit. We found that dollhouse stuff is EXPENSIVE. So to get our crafting ya ya's out we've branched out into scrapbooking, altered projects, candles and whatever else we feel the need to wanna try. It's been alot of fun. Now lets see where this road takes us.
