I hate it when a comment doesn't post! Advnced EW sytems is anopther tech to look into.
active cancellation is a military jamming system that envolves the sampling of an incoming radar signal, analyzing it then returning this signal slightly out of phase thus 'cancelling' it out. The advantage over traditoinal stalth is that it's not effected by adverse weather conditions or a slight cratch in ram coatings. Both Europe and the US are developing this field of technology and I recommend people look into it.

Or a technology called PIRATE which can detect the heat generated by the jet as it moves thru the space causing friction. F-22 muffles this heat from the engines to some degre (classified) altho the 2nd biggest heat source comes from the nose cone of the jet. both US and Europe are working on this kind of tech.

I'm dissapointed with asusucks comment tho (he's a mate of mine). None of these jets have seen warfare and so to just assume that one jet is automatically more effective than the other is a grave mistake. Stealth is invisible to ground radar...not airbourne radar. The F-22's radar signature is that of a small bird compared to the EF's RS being about 100 cm so there's not allot of difference. The thrust to weight of the EF is only VERY slightly better than F-22 and the radars are basically the same. For me it would come down to AIm120D vs METEOR (as we both have very good IR missiles) and again...neither of these have been tested under combat conditions.

Whoever it is has been doing it for at least 2 years now and I underetimated his resolve haha. YT really needs to sort this out because it ruins genuine debates. Both the F-22 and EF are not even finished anyway. EF is waiting for the hybrid AESA/E Scan CAPTOR radar, new engines and maybe TVN (India wants it) and the F-22 is waiting for the AIM120D which is reported to have better range over the AIM120C due to using a new type of gel fuel. Both jets have not yet reached their full potential.

Easy mate...I will comment here as even my reply to you was spammed as predicted lol. I get irritated as there are some good comments on that vid man. I visit it because I have learn't quite abit from both Yanks and Europeans regading some of the philosophies of bth Europe and USA surounding our Air force doctrines. I have also learn't about some of the systems on both jets too. There's noting wrong wioth debating the EF vs F-22 so long as it's done in a friendly, logical manner. I believe the spammer is just one/2 users from the US who log into several accounts each day, visit the same EF threads then spam away. Probably a youngster who is a bit over keen on the F-22/US jets.

I was watching the Eurofighter on the clip I mentioned. Where exactly do you think these vortex generators are???

I like the fact that you are not a disrespectful guy like so many I encounter here on YT.

Great comments on the F22 Raptor page. I don't know how you can keep it up. Sometimes it's like arguing with a wall. Unfortunatley, no matter what you say will ever convince the two jerks you've been going at it with. God himself could tell them they are wrong and they still wouldn't care. They like to argue just to argue no matter the facts. I think deep down they both know the F22 kicks the EF's butt in A2A warfare. BTW, nice catch on AmFear. Funny how he always brings up other a/c that aren't relevant to the discussion.
