	stevewestband (2 months ago) Hi this is Steve West again! thanks for the compliment. Most of my solo work on "Louie, Louie" was more lyrical and in rythem with the song itself. Not just a sporadic solo like the Kingsmen version. Mike Mitchell of the Kingsmen is a close friend of mine and a good guitar player too. I have no tablature of my solo or any of my solos. I can have my wife video me doing it for you if you would like me to and go slow so that you could catch it. I was 16 when I did that solo. I make it up right there in the studio with Mark Lindsay standing right over me. I am 65 now and I still play. I played in many bands for all of my life. I have had many different guitar stylings. the Raiders and I were inducted into the Oregon Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. I am very proud to be a part of that.
