About this user

K3N the band originated with a group of friends who lived together in a college dorm, Krause Third North. Jim Pricket is the foundation and creative force that started the band and continues to lead K3N. Jimi convinced me to move to iowa to continue working on our music after graduation back in 1980. While we continued playing music together sporatically over the years, we never did anything of substance as we pursued our individual careers, marriages, families etc. But our frindship, musical partnership, and the essence and spirit of K3N remained with us. In 1998 I had opportunity to play guitar regularly at Lutheran Church Of Hope in West Des Moines. I told Jimi what a great time I was having - he checked it out himself, and soon we were playing together again in ernest. Things fell into place quickly with the addition of husbad & wife team Trish and Cory Lark and drummer Andy Claude. For a few years we played exclusively within the CCM realm, but eventually followed our instinct and desire to play our favorite classic rock, puck & pop songs. Now we are thoroughly enjoying being a bar band playing an eclectic set list.
In 2009 K3N is going through another transformation, with the departure of all but original band members Jimi & myself. Now we are rebuilding again from the bottom up, with the addition of Kevin Hueholt on guitars/vocals, and completely revamping the list of songs we play. K3N rocks on...
