By invading (or bombing) a country you don't guarantee anything, peace or otherwise. All you guarantee is possible servicemen deaths, and killing of civilians. Preventative and preemptive war might be the biggest false ideology in today's society, and possibly the most dangerous as well.

It's interesting that people actually think that corrupt people (politicians) can police other potentially corrupt groups (large businesses). Personally, I would put much more faith in a business person being honest than a politician.
