Oliver Cromwell deported many white people into slavery onto Caribbean tobacco plantations.
Most of these forced migrants ended up in Barbados, Montserrat and Jamaica.
Most descendants of these white slaves moved off the islands as African slavery was implemented and blacks began to replace whites.
