We seek to break the grip of the party system on British politics by ushering a new set of unwhipped and independently minded people into Parliament.

If you have ever wondered why the Government gets to pass whatever laws it likes, or why MPs seem to get paid so much and get so much in expenses while failing to address the concerns of their constituents, then the answer is here: it is due to the excessive power of political parties.

The time has come for people with no party loyalty - independents - to take the helm of the country and steer it back on course.

From Monday 16th March 2009 until 24th April we ran an open primary in which any member of the public could stand. Those who received the most votes went foward onto our candidate list for the European Election to be held on 4th June. We will very soon be conducting the same process for the General Election.

On our website www.juryteam.org you will find a list of all our candidates, outling their values and policy priorities.

Jury Team is the only political group seeking to get a swathe of independent politicians into Parliament. Jury Team is the only possibility for effecting real reform of British politics.
