Hi real name is John born in West Melton, South Yorkshire, (for a description of myself go to the bottom of the page) My first taste of Northern Soul came from Mexborough Disc A Gogo in the mid to late 60Ts and is still my favourite style of music today. Its a passion an obsession a way of life it will give you goosebumps, send shivers down your spine, make you smile make you cry and ultimately jump for joy !!!. I would never have thought then that 40 years on its still going strong. Top 10 tunes from then has to be Gospel Classics - More love thats what we need, Darrell Banks - Our love is in the pocket, Edwin Starr - I have faith in you, The Impressions - I cant satisfy + Youv'e been cheating, Elgins - Heaven must have sent you, Lou Johnson - Unsatisfied, Marvin Smith - Have more time, Contours - Just a little misunderstanding, Marvin Gaye - Little darling, Invitations - Whats wrong with me baby, ( that makes eleven ) everyone of which still packs the dancefloor today, anyway I could carry on there,s thousands and if you ever meet me dont ask what my favourite track is !!! endless amount of posabilities. To top it all my youngest daughters name is Tamla Sharae ----- . I currently live on the south coast between Brighton & Eastbourne used to run the Night Owl Soul Club do's ( mid 80s - mid 90s nominated for new years honours 1986/7 by Capital Radio ) til I had a nasty accident and broke my leg and was unable to carry on. Thanks to Simon Bridger & Div etc who carried on where I left off and all those who attended and made it everything Soul-full,
