One of the most outstanding piano virtuosos of the former Soviet Union, Dr. Alexander Tutunov returns to Juneau on his yearly worldwide concert itinerary. Bringing together the daring Romanticism of the 19th Century with the restless modernism of the 20th Century, Tutunov performs two challenging works in this presentation. First, he delivers Schumanns masterpiece Carnaval, and then one of Prokofievs genial War Sonatas, No. 7, Op. 83.
