My name is Taylor.

I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin River Falls. It is one of the best schools in the country for equine majors. My major is Animal Science/Equine. What am I doing with this, you ask? Well! Life goal is to become an internationally known horse trainer and professional rider. We shall see! I'm pretty persistant ;)

I started taking lessons when I was 9 years young, for western pleasure/equitation and a little gaming on the side. About four years ago, however, my eyes were opened up to the kick-bum world of reining and the thrills of jumping. Now that's what I do! Until the last three years I have been primarily a western rider.

I currently own one horse, Laughable Affliction (Joker). He's a 15.3-16hh, black bay, Appendix QH who looks much more TB. He came with me to college.
He loves to jump, and so do I, so that's what we do! He also has some lovely reining skills installed from his 4 and 5 year old years of training :) You should've seen my leggy TB stop back in the day!

I got him when he was 4, and that was 4 years ago. I trained him up from the beginning- When I got him his gaits were: walk, jog, gallop like a maniac. No breaks included! Anyway, now our ultimate goal is to do three day eventing. I'm so excited for the cross country, and the challenge/connection of dressage. I have some wonderful teachers at the moment helping me.

I'm also currently half-heartedly searching for a 2/3yro horse I can start in reining. I love my big jumper, but I miss those slides!
