I believe that Judaism and Christianity are two branches of the same tree. They share 3 fundamental tenets:
1.) THE NAME
God's Name, according to Jewish and Christian Scriptures, is "YHWH". Since the original texts lacked vowels, we do not know the exact pronunciation. Both groups, however, could recognize Him as "HaShem" ("The Name" in Hebrew).
2.) THE MESSIAH
The 12th principle of the Jewish faith (according to Maimonides) is the belief in "the coming of the Messiah".
Christians as well anticipate the coming of the Jewish Messiah. Christians simply believe they know who it will be.
3.) THE GOLDEN RULE
Another famous Jewish leader--Hillel--was asked to summarize the Jewish faith in the most concise terms:
"That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow, this is the whole Torah, and the rest is commentary."
Jesus taught the same principle, which we know as the "Golden Rule".
Jews & Christians should support each other!
