Am I the only one who feels like publishers are trying to trick me into buying their products? If this goes anywhere, which it probably will when companies see those short term profits, then the only option will be piracy.

This is why you don't let the marketing department make a cartoon. This looks like the kind of thing that would get a two week run on YTV circa 2007. I'm almost tempted to say the Dic version was better.

It has nothing to do with this particular video, it's a sitewide problem that strikes at what from our end looks to be completely random. As much as I hate to say something bad about anything you make, I have to say I was expecting a bit more when he said "I'M ADOPTED?" You always make your characters so animated and expressive that it was kind of surreal seeing Egoknight just sit there.

I worked as a dishwasher in the busiest restaurant in town. I did just as much work as the waitresses and bussers ever did and nobody ever tipped me. And it's not just about me, there are lots of other people in the service industry who do more than the waitresses and way more than me who don't get tipped. What separates people who get tipped from people who don't is a mystery to me.

And the problem?

Somewhere along the line, AAA game development became less about creating value and more about ticking off boxes that supposedly make a high selling game. When you see these several million dollar forecasts it reveals that this industry is just getting too bloated for it's own good. People think that all this downsizing is a sign of the industry's death but this is actually the best thing that could happen. I'm of course speaking from the point of view of a consumer.
