The kids stayed for the time being yes. This cartoon is in fact a very long Comic and this particular movie is just one of the stories from it, theres ALOT more to the story both before and after, it didnt end at this at all.

This is one of the best non-disney cartoons ever made. And the comic is even better, because it is rather accurate according to nordic mythology as well and its rather educational in many ways as well. Ive just bought the collected edition of the comics and so happy to find this here. Thumbs up! ...
